So I've once again decided to sell Mark. A while back I was selling all of Avon but I realized the only stuff I usually bought was from the Mark line. I guess I'll see how it goes. I didn't really make any money last time but I also didn't try. However, with the economy the way it is and with me being in school, I need to do something. Besides....I love the products and the queen of allergies (that would be me) can actually use it. Check it out at my store http://www.mymarkstore/joanhughes

MIA!
Sorry I've been MIA on you. I've been busy with cosmetology school and by the time I get home I'm exhausted. But I'm out sick today so I thought I post something today.
Over the weekend me and some of the girls from my school went to a hair show in Baltimore, Maryland. And let me tell you......it was a total BLAST! I did however learn something about my school. It SUCKS majorly! After talking with students from other schools we realized just how little our school teaches us and how crappy it is. So here's my thinking and I could use some help.....We were thinking about transferring to The Paul Mitchell school in the northern VA area. Now here's my problem. 1. housing would be expensive. yes I would be sharing an apartment with 2 other girls but from places that I've look up it's still going to cost close to $600 a person. 2. I would have to have a job and I'm not sure if I could work enough hours to make enough for rent and other necessities. 3. The school is probably going to cost a TON of money. A lot more than what I paying now. Granted I would have grants and student loans I wouldn't be paying right now but I still would owe that money. I know it sounds like I making excuses not to go but honestly, I really want to make this work out. I know the opportunities I receive once I graduate would be a hell of a lot better if I went to The Paul Mitchell school than the one I'm in now. Any suggestions would be great! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Snowed in and contest
I hate being snowed in! I get cabin fever. Goes along with my ADD. I get bored really easily and then have nothing to do. Makes me go crazy! So I had to do my nails and then my momma's. I found this new acrylic kit from Sally's the other day where we paint glue on and then dip your nails in the acrylic. I don't think I did to bad for trying to do it on myself. I always have trouble with my right hand since I'm right handed. I haven't painted them yet but when I figure out what I want to do to it I'll try to post a picture. And since I'm in cosmetology school I've learned how to do a complete manicure with massage and whatnot so I treated my momma to one. I sure hope this snow stops soon or I just might loose my mind!
Anyways, Andrea from Black nail polish and lip gloss is having a 300+ giveaway. Check it out here.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

MIA
So very sorry that I've been absent. For the past 4 weeks I've been really busy with cosmetology school. Needless to say I haven't had much time to do anything. I've been having a lot of fun and can't wait to share some tips I learn. Next week I'll be able to work on real people instead of stupid manicans and I am super excited. I've already had all sorts of things done to my hair and I'm sure before I graduate I'll have done a whole lot more. I'll share some pics as soon as I get them uploaded. Until then, I hope everyone has a great day!
