Rimmel

Hello All,
Well I got tired of waiting on my dad to give me my camera back so I took photos from Rimmel's website for this post.  You can go here to check out their website.
First I want to talk about their quad eyeshadow.  I love these.  You can do so many different looks with them.  For work I generally stick to boring nudes but if I go out, I play with the brighter colors.

The only downside is that they're small so they don't last long.  But they're not expensive at all.

Next for those who love lipgloss, they have a 10 hr duo lipgloss that come in some pretty colors.  You put on the plain color first and then follow with the glittery topcoat.  However, sadly I cannot wear it.  There's something in it that makes my lips blister. :(

 

 

And finally I love they're matte finish pressed powder.  I hate the feeling on foundation on my skin.  I feel like I have a mask on.  Luckily I was blessed with great skin so I can get away with just a pressed powder to even out my skin tone.

Meet Mark

Hello ladies,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was kinda uneventful, except for Saturday. Saturday I went with my mom, older brother, and 16m old niece to the JMU football game. Now I hate and I mean HATE football and I hate being cold. So why you may ask did I go to a football game in the cold? Well the answer is simple....I LOVE my niece. I could spend the entire day with her and never be bored. She aims to entertain. And entertain she did. Thankfully everyone else was freezing too so we only stayed through most of the first half. Then Saturday evening, I had a date! :) I met him online, which I must say I wasn't so sure about it at first. I've been out with 2 other guys through this online site and well let's just say they sucked. Maybe it's my guarded heart but this time it will either be 3 strikes and you're out or 3rd times a charm. We'll see....(I'm hoping for 3rd times a charm as this guy is really sweet)

On to a favorite product. I love Mark products. 1. I can actually use them and 2. I love some of the packaging. Plus it is not expensive. I love the hookups. What better way to carry make-up than to have 2 items in 1. You can mix and match the hookups but I usually have like items with like items. Call me weird like that. I don't usually wear lipstick or lipgloss unless it's a special occasion but I love Mark lipgloss. I can't say I have a favorite color but I'm drawn to the pinks ( maybe because pink is my favorite color). They have a lip plumper as well for those of you who like those. I personally haven't tried them. Seeing how I'm allergic to like everything, I'm very careful when it comes to new things. Mark also has a great skin care line. I love the see things clearly face lotion. I also love the freshening spray. It is great on airplanes to keep your skin hydrated, however you have to put it in a smaller spray bottle as it is more than the 3 oz. allowed. Check out all of mark's products at www.meetmark.com

So I've been awarded the you make me smile award from my bestest friend. Funny thing is I just started this blog but I'll play along. So let see.....I'm supposed to name a song that makes me smile and the blogs that make me smile. Soooo the song that makes me smile right now is actually by Jessica Simpson. It's called "When I loved you like that". I've recently been divorced and this song makes me laugh. It's all about how she basically worship the guy and he neglected her no matter how much she tried to show him affection. And yeah well I understand that. My favorite part is the end where she says go home and make love to her and picture me. I love that part! And soooo true to my life right now. Anyhoo.....blogs that make me smile. Hello Ladies.
I can't believe I'm up already. I am a girl who loves her beauty sleep. There are days when I think I could sleep all day if it were possible. However, life does not allow that. Anyways....I want to tell you about a favorite cosmetic of mine. It's from a company called Micabella. I love that they are free of preservatives yet still come in all sorts of vibrant colors and has flawless coverage. It is a expensive but I believe that you get what you pay for. The best part about their eyeshadow is how diverse it is. You can wear it dry, wet, or mix it with clear gloss or vasaline and you have a beautiful lip gloss. Hello All

Just starting out with the blogging. When you meet me you wouldn't think that I am obsessed with beauty or beauty products but my bathroom in over flowing with all sorts of products. Seeing me at work I probably don't seem like a girly-girl at all but really I am. I recently got divorced and I must say I let myself go. It all started maybe 2 years ago when my ex told me he didn't have anyone to impress anymoore. Well unfortunantly, I adopted that mantra and well it all went down hill from there. Now that I'm starting over, I guess you could say I'm reinventing myself. Or maybe just going back to my roots. I'm even getting ready to start cosomotology school in Novemeber which I'm very excited about. Since I'm just starting out this is it for now. Later, I'll be writing about my favorite products and whatnot. And if you're like me and allergic to alot then you'll love what I have to say. Take care!
